- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move products efficiently.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment while maintaining productivity standards.
- Perform receiving duties, including unloading trucks, verifying incoming stock, and inspecting for damage.
- Conduct production tasks such as slitting and pour downs as required.
- Maintain precise inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., SAP) and participate in cycle counts.
- Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO) to minimize waste and maintain product quality.
- Adhere to all safety policies, including TDG regulations, WHMIS standards, and proper PPE usage.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or order errors in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets and support a positive, safety-first work environment.
- Participate in cross-training and contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Solid 4+ years of hands-on warehouse and inventory management experience.
- Valid forklift certification required. TDG certification preferred (in-house or at own expense) is an asset.
- Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). SAP WM/EWM experience asset.
- You must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license and have reliable personal transportation is preferred.
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and medical assessment.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Able to provide 2-3 professional references upon request.
- Must supply and wear CSA-approved safety steel-toe boots.
- Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba (Transcona)
- Type: Temporary to Permanent (4 months contract)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Salary: $23/HR - $25/HR
- Compensation: Weekly pay
- Additional Info: Possibility of becoming permanent
