- Partner with leaders to analyze HR data and trends, providing recommendations that support business objectives.
- Coach and guide managers on employee relations, performance management, and engagement best practices.
- Support the development and application of HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
- Lead or assist with investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective action processes.
- Contribute to talent management initiatives, including succession planning and organizational development.
- Collaborate on recruitment, onboarding, and change management efforts as needed.
- Administer disability management, accommodations, and return-to-work programs.
- Coordinate with external counsel to support work permit compliance and immigration processes.
- Ensure consistent and equitable application of HR practices across all client groups.
- Perform other related duties as required to support the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner or Generalist role.
- CPHR designation or working towards it is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in a regulated or operational environment (e.g., aviation, manufacturing) is an asset.
- Proven ability to manage employee relations, coach leaders, and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- The location: Calgary, Alberta
- Schedules: Must be available for morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday (flexibility required).
