Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders to analyze HR data and trends, providing recommendations that support business objectives.
  • Coach and guide managers on employee relations, performance management, and engagement best practices.
  • Support the development and application of HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • Lead or assist with investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective action processes.
  • Contribute to talent management initiatives, including succession planning and organizational development.
  • Collaborate on recruitment, onboarding, and change management efforts as needed.
  • Administer disability management, accommodations, and return-to-work programs.
  • Coordinate with external counsel to support work permit compliance and immigration processes.
  • Ensure consistent and equitable application of HR practices across all client groups.
  • Perform other related duties as required to support the team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner or Generalist role.
  • CPHR designation or working towards it is considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a regulated or operational environment (e.g., aviation, manufacturing) is an asset.
  • Proven ability to manage employee relations, coach leaders, and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
Employment Details
  • The location: Calgary, Alberta
  • Schedules: Must be available for morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday (flexibility required).
