TalentWorld is hiring for a Payroll Coordinator for one of our amazing clients in Mississauga, ON. This is a temporary role with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. This position is hands-on and focused on delivering accurate, timely payroll and benefits administration. Payroll coordinator responsibilities:
  • Process full-cycle payroll in accordance with provincial and federal legislation.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Reconcile payroll and benefits data to ensure accurate deductions and remittances.
  • Prepare payroll reports and support internal audits as required.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure seamless data flow and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with employment standards, taxation requirements, and company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Payroll coordinator qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, ideally in a high-volume environment.
  • Dayforce/Ceridian payroll system experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation.
  • Experience with group benefits administration (enrollments, life events, monthly billing reconciliation).
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field.
  • PCP certification (or working toward it) is an asset.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.

Employment Details:
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday (full-time)
  • Pay based on experience
  • Location: Mississauga, ON
