Class B Pressure Welder – Calgary, AB

TalentWorld is recruiting a skilled Class B Pressure Welder in Calgary, AB for one of its valued industrial partners.

This role is ideal for an experienced pressure welder who is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and has strong experience welding carbon and stainless steel piping and vessels. You will support fabrication activities, read and interpret drawings, and ensure work meets quality and safety standards.

Schedule:
Afternoon shift (4 x 10-hour shifts) or weekend shift (3 x 12-hour shifts)
Day shift candidates may be considered; however, a higher skill level is required.

Class B Pressure Welder Responsibilities:
  • Weld stainless and carbon steel pipe and vessels
  • Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
  • Perform TIG, MIG, and flux core welding to established parameters
  • Support fabrication activities in a production setting
  • Use hand tools and welding equipment safely
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow safety procedures and company standards
Class B Pressure Welder Qualifications:
  • Minimum Class B Pressure Welder ticket
  • TIG welding experience with stainless and carbon steel
  • GMAW / MIG welding experience on stainless and carbon steel pipe and vessels
  • Fitting experience considered a strong asset
  • Strong blueprint reading skills
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Reliable with strong attention to detail

Hiring Process:
Candidates who pass the interview will complete a practical welding test. Materials, equipment, and booth time are provided. A criminal background check is required.
