You will play a key role in supporting daily operations by scheduling shipments, preparing transportation paperwork, and collaborating with internal teams and carriers, directly contributing to the efficiency and success of our client's operations.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday | Day Shift
What’s in it for you:

- Create and manage daily shipment schedules to align with production and customer delivery timelines
- Coordinate the movement of goods by arranging carriers, confirming shipping methods, and monitoring deliveries
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, customs forms, invoices, and regulatory paperwork
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, including weights and dimensions, safety standards, and applicable legislation
- Support shipments requiring specialized documentation, including overweight or over-dimensional freight
- Track shipments, communicate with carriers, and proactively resolve delays or delivery issues
- Maintain detailed records related to shipments, correspondence, and transportation activity
- Collaborate with production, operations, and customer service teams to ensure efficient load planning and execution
- Provide updates to leadership regarding service concerns, customer issues, or opportunities for process improvement
- Utilize ERP and internal systems to compile, verify, and manage shipping data
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a shipping, logistics, or transportation coordination role
Experience supporting a manufacturing, industrial, or construction materials environment is strongly preferred - Hands-on experience preparing shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading, customs paperwork, and compliance forms
- Working knowledge of transportation regulations and shipping best practices
Experience coordinating complex shipments or supporting specialized freight is considered an asset - Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
- Effective communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- High attention to detail, integrity, and a strong work ethic
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is an asset
CITT Certification (CCLP) or P.Log designation is considered an asset
